WOW!
I can't believe it's been an entire year since my last post. It doesn't help that I don't have the internet. So a major update is in order!
Weston: He now works for a medical staffing agency called CompHealth near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. He absolutely loves it and is doing great. He has started a work out program called Insanity. It is exactly that, insane. He is on week four and is going strong.
Cole: Cole loves to exercise with his daddy. He's actually really good at it. His favorite disc is cardio circuit, or as he calls it cardio circus. We are working on potty training, but he's not very interested in it. He is obsessed with trains lately and really wants one like uncle KK or his cousin Dallin because they go around the track by themselves. He can't wait to go camping and prays about it every night. He has an amazing memory and will tell us stories about things that happened months ago. He is an awesome big brother and son and tells us he loves us all the time. What a sweetheart!
Carter: What can I say...he is a NUT! He just turned 18months and finally decided he could stand on his own. We have been working with both speech and physical therapists since October and he has progressed a ton. He wouldn't roll over, clap, babble, or anything just sit or lie there. Since then he has learned to crawl, roll over, cruise along the couch and STAND! Plus much, much more. He now jabbers all the time and is learning several words as well. He is a little goofball and makes us laugh all the time. We are so lucky to have him in our lives and are so thankful for the awesome staff that delivered and cared for him in the hospital!
Jen: I can't think of anything more amazing than being a wife and mother! We are adding a sweet little girl to our family in May and are super excited! I don't know what I'll do with a girl after these silly boys, but she will definately have some cute hair styles. I am still doing hair on the side in my basement and can't wait to have a hair sink. The bathtub works ok but is SO not the same. I am still doing Paparazzi as well but have taken a break from doing parties because of my morning sickness. I have taken up babysitting a few days a week and am loving it. The kids love having someone to play with too. I was just called to young women's and am super excited. We have some amazing girls and leaders and I am looking forward to the fun times ahead. Did I mention girls camp? Can't wait!
Other: We added a cute little puppy to our family last year and are totally in love with this guy. He is a brittney spaniel and is about 8 months old. He is getting big but still acts like a puppy. We named him Dex after the Rockies baseball player Dexter Fowler. He loves going for walks and playing with Weston and Cole. He can't wait to go camping either. He loves the outdoors and chasing birds.
We also purchased a tent trailer and truck last spring and have become addicted to camping. It sure beats camping in a tent. Plus the king and queen size beds make it a bit more comfortable. So now we are just anxiously awaiting warmer weather!
We are also remodeling/finishing our basement. We now have everything but the laundry room rewired. Weston's parents came this weekend and helped us insulate and sheet rock the ceilings. It looks more and more like a home with every project and are so excited to have the extra space!
What more can I say than LIFE IS GREAT!
